Coventry Cathedral
An extraordinary place, a story you can’t ignore.
Discover a thousand years of history at the nation’s favourite 20th Century building. An icon of hope and source of inspiration, Coventry Cathedral is a unique and visionary place where the modern Cathedral sits majestically next to the blitzed ruins of its 14th Century predecessor. In the Blitz Experience our volunteers tell the story of that night in November 1940, with contemporary film footage and room reconstructions, what Coventry was like before the Blitz and how the people of this extraordinary city coped with its aftermath.
The Tower is the third tallest in the country providing spectacular views over Coventry. In celebration of our 50th anniversary we are introducing a new Jubilee Tour taking place twice on weekdays as well as a dynamic cultural programme of events throughout 2012.
